help needed in gta5

    Hi folks
    Im looking for some help in gta5.im not into doing any missions all I want to do is drive around and explore the place and have fun.but every time I try go away and do my own thing it says mission failed can someone help me with this so I can enjoy the game.

    Finish that mission first, you must have to complete it before you can mess around.

    Frisbee the disk out the window and then you can go drive around have fun and do your own thing
