Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all.
In Bangkok for a few days and high end smartphones are bloody cheap.
Was wondering if something like a galaxy s 3 or nexus 5 bought here would work at home. They're all sold sim free

I live here and they are cheaper at home. You will also have a warranty in Ireland. If you want Chinese knock-offs of high end phones then they are here. Go to MBK for the best selection and bargain hard. Buyer beware.

Will be buying a new sim free phone in a legit phone shop so warranty is not an issue. Just wanted to know will the phone be compatible with the irish system regarding 3g, wifi etc

You should have no problem regards that. We've got 4g here now too. I'd like to know where you will buy it though. I'd be surprised if its cheaper than Amazon in Ireland.
