if you choose to upgrade to efibre , is this locking you into a new 12 month contract or is it simply an increase in speed

New 18 month direct debit contract. ;)
    It's a joke, right?

wont be signing up to 18 months or DB

should be just an increase in speed, if they say free upgrade

    Hi jos22
thret is correct in above post.. But to clarify, the free upgrade refers to installation and equipment necessary to get eFibre, which is free and the 6 months free broadband offer for new customers.
eFibre is only available on an 18 month contract. If you have an existing contract with eircom we can simply swap you onto the new eFibre contract without incurring any additional fees.

Hope this answers your question at least..
