Just registered there on the New York Runners site and was seriously thinking of going for the 'guaranteed' entry for time ( My 2013 Half time just does it by 2 seconds). 347$$$$$$ WTF? I got in as well on the first attempt. Needed to make a trip over there anyway this year for family reasons so great this worked out.
