That part in the Turtles game on the NES where you had to defuse the underwater bombs, did anyone ever actually pass that?

I did after a helluva lot of trying :pac:

Check out the gap in the floor at 5.07. That had me stumped for AGES!!! It was funny watching the AVGN struggle with the same gap 12 years after I originally had:D

Jet Set Willy- The Banyan Tree

That was broken, you had to enter a poke to fix it.
    Scott me up Beamy!

Darkness levels - not being able to see what you're doing isn't fun. NSMB Wii has a dark underwater level!

Deus Ex: HR - The last level with the zombies basically.
Wind Waker: The stealth section through the Forsaken Fortress
Baldur's Gate 2: The initial dungeon

I notice someone mentioned The Fade in Dragon Age; I picked this up in the Steam sales and I'm getting a sense this section is horrendous. There seems a general grumbling about it, and i notice there are even mods to skip it; is it really that bad?
It's a bit late to be replying, but you should play through it at least once. It's horrific for replays and I'm only going to play the game on PC with the mod to skip it from now on. In fact I only bought it on PC because I found out there is a mod you can skip the section.

"it's so bad I bought a second copy of the game just so I'd never have to play it again, but you try it"

Defuse the bombs underwater in Turtles on the NES.

Remember in Gears 3 where you defused bombs on a pipeline, yeah I had to go & look up how to do that online. Wasn't v.hard either but I always missed passing one of them.
The very last bit of AC:II I never finished, you have to move through a series of rooms avoiding detection always get caught.
A bit near the end of ME3 (in london with the 5,000 dark red phoneboxes) where it feels like they throw wave after wave of enemies at you was v.annoying at the time too, rest of that game was kinda a breeze then.

Playing through it now for the first time...due to never having a PS3..but...
    Uncharted 1

-The final few parts....shocking, the story just went all crysis...it's so stupid. Clear puzzles that noone knew how to, open door...only for their to be more guards ?...what ?...and then when you get to about Chapter 17....Really ?
-90% of the shooting section ..very badly done.

Get Uncharted 2 though, it takes everything about the first game and improves on them immensely, the combat, the shooting, the story, everything. It's the closest thing to playing a summer blockbuster you'll get in a game.

    Metal Gear Solid

Meryl gets pinned by Sniper Wolf and your left cowering with only basic weapons

    *Codec call
Colonel " Snake theres a sniper rifle in hanger -2, you know the place where you started the game"

Snake "all the way back there???"

Colonel "ya, twould be fierce handy now but your only just after getting that Lv. 7 card of Pyscho Mantis (convenient) so you'd Better get on your bike there and get it"

A good 20 min trek including a crawl through a ****in minefield and darkened wolf den and back with new enemies installed.

Arrive back and Meryls gone for the majority of the game.

    The desert in Uncharted 3.
Have my gun, try to sneak up on the bad guys. Succeed with one then when kill the other everyone is alerted. Dealing with multiple grenade launchers and snipers through a sandstorm where I can't see them but they can all see me. I only got past it by deciding to make a run for it after the hundredth time dying. So then when I died I had made it as far as the checkpoint and all the enemies were gone.

Oh and pretty much any game which decides to add an escort mission.

I bought the trilogy, because everyone went on about how good 2 and 3 were.
Unfortunately I have to play through 1 first...and it's not impressed me. It's a good game, but nothing special.

The first one, which obviously was developed with a Sony exec in the background instructing Naughty Dog to insert pointless Sixaxis controls in, thank Glob they were gone by the second and third iterations.
Unfortunately the exec was back for the PS Vita title, with more pointless touch screen and motion controls for things that you could just press a button for in previous games, pure madness and it spoils the game.

I played the demo around when the first Uncharted came out. That crap made me not play it then. I got around to it last year though. I played the first two and had some fun with them. I played the third, but honestly, I guess I lost interest. Haven't played all that much of it.

I didn't think it spoils the game on vita, it just wasn't additive to the experience. I agree it would have been better to leave it out and was shoehorned in to show what the vita could do.
