Resigned pollard, my only issue is my DE pitotua, he's not rated that high so I should be able to pick him up again

Orakpo rejected a contract so I franchise tagged his ass. DeAngelo hall is the best player hitting free agency from my pov.

Ravens are in cap trouble so having a bit of house cleaning

    Coming back:
    Daryl Smith MLB
    Dennis Pitta TE
    Omar Brown FS

    Hitting the road:
    Mike Thomas WR 85
Michael Oher RT 84 - now franchise tagged
    Ed Dickson TE 82
    Arthur Jones LE 80
    Corey Graham CB 78
    Terence Cody DT 78

    A few other scrubs

If some of these get to round 2 of FA with reasonable demands then deals can be done

How do you franchise tag a player?

Sorry, I can't see the option

Resigning screen, and I think you press y

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,395 ✭✭✭✭mikemac1

    Thanks, that worked

Have hit Michael Oher with the tag as I'm screwed at offensive tackle

6.7 million is a lot but it's far cheaper then other positions

Colts Re-sign WR Josh Boyce, WR Heyward-Bey, RB Darius Reynaud, RB Ahmad Bradshaw, DT Sedrick Ellis, and lolb Lawrence Sidbury.

Hitting the road at this stage are RG McGlynn 80, LE Mathews 80, DT Franklin 82, RT Linkenbach 82, and LG Reitz 82.

I wish them luck in their Future endeavours.

Hawks resigned 5 guys including browner who I had to tag.
5 guys hitting FA including Golden Tate who is a great kick returner and reciever but has an attitude problem when it comes to money! He loves the stuff!

I slapped Harlyson with the franchise tag, I think it was around $6m-$7m, but he was easily my best player on defense last year so I couldn't let him walk.

Hitting free agency are my center De Le Puente and FS Chris Clemons. I'm disappointed to lose both. If they won't come back, then they are two positions I will be looking to strengthen in FA and the draft.

No big name leaving but some good players though,2 FS's and DT Pouha, few others gone too but no loss.
Tight on cap atm,may have to trade a big name,Derrick Johnson looking the most affordable

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,197 ✭✭✭giffney1991

Nothing major but Routt hitting free agency so I'll be looking to pick him up again

Cushing hanging around as well so happy out!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,557 ✭✭✭madalig12

Thankfully my TE signed up, frantag went on my FS Burnett. Didn't get the opportunity to offer my near probowl DT another contract so he and my RT Barron are free agents along with Starks and both my centres.

Eagles with not a lot of Cap Room so few people hitting the door.

    Kept:

    Maclin - Franchise Tag

    Out:

    D. Jones P - 87 (lowballed him and it backfired)
    B. Meriweather SS -85
    A.Curry LOLB - 81
    C.Geathers LE - 78
    B.McKinney DT - 77

Didn't do anything with Vick (86), so not sure what will happen there.

Theres a huge rumour doing the rounds that Vick just bought a house in Indianapolis

    Oh you would, would you.

Yeah I would....whatcha gonna do bout it? Have to spend my 31million cap space somehow!

Ravens GM set the alarm clock and has been doing an early morning review.

Two new players have gotten the axe

    Jameel McClain MLB 70
    Sam Koch P 80

Ravens now have an additional 4.9 million to use in FA :)

And yes, a punter will be drafted!! Probably around the 5th or 6th round. Punters need love too!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,395 ✭✭✭✭mikemac1

    ******Breaking News***********

It kinda looks like I'm spamming the forum but anyway

Terrelle Suggs 88 got the axe

Ravens GM frees up 12.4 million in cap space for a small 1million penalty

My thinking is he'll be cheaper in FA despite the dead money and even if I don't bring him back I have Upshaw and Dumervil as my outside linebackers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,189 ✭✭✭PADRAIC.M

Oh If I had the cap I'd be all over Suggs! Think I have less than 2 mil to work with :-( not that I have any holes to fill :-D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,395 ✭✭✭✭mikemac1

3 hours to go and I have 34 million burning a hole in my pocket!
