Best wireless speaker for Apple ?

In our house we have 2 iPhone's ( 5 and 5c ) we will be getting the new iPad mini 128GB in the next few days ( won one )

I've also recently started to use Spotify and love it.. and want a wireless speaker I can link to to play music in the house.

What are the best speakers for Apple products ?

I would be looking to spend €100.

I use to work with Sonos ( As the distributor in Ireland ) I loved there stuff. Was always out of my price range.

The Jawbone Jambox is very small.. what would the sound be like from it ?

How about the Logitech UE Mobile Boombox?
The black is only £50 on Amazon, it's well worth the money and sounds great.

I carry a Jambox with me when travelling for work. Sounds great in a small hotel room, but I don't use it at home. I would want something more substantial in a permanent location.

I've a 4gamers Houseparty in the bedroom which is in your price range, its good but not very loud. I've a bose sound dock in the main room and its great but out of your price range.

Have this find it excellent - sound is great, unit is rechargeable and battery lasts a long time.

If you don't need portability the UE is probably better.

The Cambridge Minx is a lovely speaker too.

Spend the extra €20 to get a bit of quality

On the otherhand if it's for a living room - a decent amp and speakers - with an airplay input is better than any wireless speaker.

My set up is for my living room so can you elaborate on this post? I have a mac air.

For a living room I would look at hifi seperates - namely an amp and speakers. Have a look at richersounds.ie for ideas. Some modern amps may have Airplay built in. But don't get caught up on Airplay itself - you can probably buy an Airplay adapter fairly cheaply these days.

I have an Airport express plugged into my 15 year old amp and floor speakers - and airplay works fantasticly with this combo.

The wireless speakers are great for bedrooms, kitchens, outdoor etc. For a living room a decent amp and speakers is a fantastic investment.

If you already have a "hifi" in the front room, you could buy an Apple TV hook it up to it and stream wirelessly to it with Spotify.

Hi, this is a bit beside the point but it may be usefull to someone else too, I have a 10 year old technics hi-fi (four separate system) can I use airport express to stream music from my ipad/iphone, if so how do I connect it to the hi-fi?

All you need is a 3.5 mm to RCA cable

Thanks Keith, I assume that can be plugged into the analog/optical output on the back of the airport express?

That's right Kagawa - the 3.5mm plugs into the analog/digital socket in the express

You can also connect them to your TV so no need for an additional soundbar.
