Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just purchased an LG 47" LED tv, model number:lg 47la740v. I'm having trouble with the HDMI setup. It's got 3:

    HDMI/DVI in:

    1 (ARC)
    2
    3 (MHL)

We've connected UPC to the HDMI 1 (ARC) but can't get the other 2 HDMI ports to register the Xbox One and Wii U.

It just days that the video signal cable is not connected and to try other available inputs?

Just spoke to Powercity. They've no idea. They said nothing should have to be setup and that the Xbox and Nintendo should just work once the HDMI channel is changed. I think it might be a problem with setup or maybe something to do with the magic controller. No idea and Powercity can't help.

Are you using the TV remote to manually select the other (2 and 3) HDMI ports? Might be no harm to switch off the UPC box in case it's hogging the connection i.e. forcing the TV to stay on HDMI1.

Might be one of those "handshaking" issues.

Have you tried switching things on in different order? If you normally switch on the TV 1st & then the console, try it the other way round.

have u tried UPC on HDMI 2+3, just to rule out faulty HDMI ports.

Not sure what your saying here OP...

Your external items to the TV must be switched on or the LG TV wont recognise whats connected to itself - thus the HDMI ports may appear grayed out or placed at the end of the available "Input list".

Even at that... as far as I'm aware, HDMI inputs don't carry an automated signal to switch between HDMI ports. So you need to manually select which HDMI port you require at any time from your remote.
