Quite a turbulent late morning-early afternoon here in the upper Nore valley.

A 56mph gust recorded around 11am, power gone soon after for roughly half an hour. Hail and sleet in the squalls. Was on the watch out for funnel clouds as the sky looked conductive for them, but no cigar.

4.9c at present with dewpoints 3.4c.

just had a very gusty day today,
but looking at weather clock the hand has gone up to change,
and now looking at evelyn on rte news weather, she is saying it is going to be bad,
how bad is it really going to be on the southern part of the west coast,
i am getting the chills right now, could it be as bad as that last bad storm we had a few weeks ago,
that one scared the hell out of me, thought it would take the roof, slates banging, trees down, some hitting garage that time,
only good thing is, i have seen to any tree i think might come down and do damage next time, also enough fire fuel for next two to three yrs out of that event
