Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Defo would rather Assaidi than Moses, Aspas or Borini.

Would definitely have Assaidi instead of Moses....would still be willing to give Aspas and Borini time. Bizarre that people expect him come into the team after so little game time and play a stormer.

    Bollocks Arsenal 1-0.

This 4th CL place is going to be between Liverpool and United isn't it?

Good game by Sterling again I think.

Thats gas cos i thought he was poor today, too many easy backward or sideways passes, his decision making was very poor again as was his touch and controle he is fast but thats about it i think

Ridiculous to just say he's fast and that's it. After Suarez been Liverpool's best player over the past month IMO.

    Some class stuff from Coutinho

Would have been some goal. Pity he can't shoot. Not great, but I'll take it. Hopefully a draw later.

None of the other teams dropping points at the moment, frustrating.

    Everton dropped 2!!

Sterling wasn't great today by the high standards he's set himself recently but still causes problems for the opposition.

City and Chelsea look like they are beginning to motor now. Arsenal struggling in some games but still getting wins late. Everton hanging in there.

Not a bad result, especially against a team that was only there to do damage. All we need to do is concentrate on our own games and not be distracted by the others.

    Get the fook in,

A well needed win to take liverpool back up to 4th.

    Owards and upwards YNWA

Said that at the start of the season.

    January transfer window is key.

Despite complaining here I'm happy with that.

    2-0 Win
Professional performance, 3 points, clean sheet.

    Move up the table.

Keep doing that and they will progress and surrounding teams will also drop points.

"@Opta Joe15 - Luis Suarez has reached 20 PL goals in 15 games this season, beating the previous record of 21 games (K Phillips, 1999-2000). Spree."

You guys can finally say Suarez is better than Kevin Phillips! Congrats! ;)

I wasnt expecting any teams above us to drop points today so happy enough that at least everton dropped 2 and we are now fourth, i think its between us,utd, everton, and spurs for fourth, its gonna be a tough old battle

ah well hang on the game was more physical when phillips was at his peak and the ball travelled faster through the air. There's basically nothing between Phillips and Suarez in terms of ability.

    deserved.

    all they did was kick.

two set piece goals is great too; grinding it out.

Delighted with the win today. Thats a lot of games in a short period of time for most of the liverpool players, they seemed pretty gased by the end of it. Welcome rest of FA cup coming up next week will be welcome.

Btw, Hull were disgraceful today with some of their tackling

    an important three points

central defenders looked in control for a change

cissokho was decent too - may be worth holding on to

sterling did ok again but like many of our forward players, bar suarez, chooses the wrong option or lacks a bit of composure in the final third

henderson put in a terrific shift again and lucas was solid again

negatives: aspas was poor again and looks lost, coutinho still failing to pick the right pass

a few signings now and a few injured players returning and we may stay in the race

ref was abysmal again, suares got kicked around all the first half and got nothing, looks like the eye-gouger's lies are already having an effect, wonder will he have anything to say about oscar's massive dive exposing him as the hypocrite he is again or will the media just not bother to ask their pal about it? probably the latter

You sure there isn't anyone else in the running? You've listed 20% of the teams in the league!
