I have a query relating to airport transfers in NYC, specifically whether JFK or Newark is my best option. I am flying from Dublin and back to Dublin after my travel below.

I have to spend the first 6 nights in NYC, Manhattan. Has anyone any experience with US airways? How do they compare to Aer Lingus?

After my stay in Manhattan I am flying to Houston, Texas for a few days from Laguardia. On returning to LGR, I have 6 hours to get to JFK or Newark to catch a flight to Dublin. The choice is mine. For ease of travel via public transport which is best? I tend to avoid taxi's and car hire in NYC.

LaGuardia is unfortunately poorly served by public transport meaning that you'll need to take a bus before getting the train.

LaGuardia to Newark will be the longer trip at about 1.5 hours. http://goo.gl/maps/9qHHj

LaGuardia is much closer to JFK but you still need to take that bus. http://goo.gl/maps/CQFfM There's nothing wrong of course with the bus but it can be akward depending on what luggage you have.

Many thanks for this. I'll go with DUB-JFK then. No issues with the bus. I will only have one small suitcase and rucksack with me.

    Check out this site

I have used them before and never had an issue, both for shuttle and private.

The shuttle service is the cheapest as its shared with other people.

Yep, I use them to get from JFK to wherever I am staying too.
