Hm done in 1:59:18. Went out too fast, should have stuck with the 2 hour packers for the first half, settled in a pace then tried to blow on a bit. Didn't expect it to be so warm, will add more hills to the training. Not too shabby, considering I've been poxed with one thing or another the past few months. Going to take it handy now for the next week. And decide on my next goal.

13km in 1:20. Haven't found a good pace yet that I am happy with. Ideally I want to be at 5:30/km. I'll get there soon I suppose.

11.5km in 1:09. Dressed for rain, and the sun came out when I got out of the car. Settled into a nice pace. Happy enough with tonight.

13km in 1:12. I was actually feeling a bit sick before we ran so started off slow enough. After 3km, I blew on. Tried to keep it as close to 5min/km as I could. Met my mam and sister out walking, they live 10 miles away, was a bit shocked to see them, and my sis roared 'move it chonky'. While I got a bit of a g up from it, she's off my Christmas card list now. B1tch.

12km in 1:06. Good night. Jeez, I'm never going to break 10km in 50 mins. Got in 6 hills, 4 of them were tough enough. Tough at the pace anyway.

Signed up for Camp Trail run on June 28th. 16 km. I have free board with the in laws, so said I would give it a shot.

11.5 in 1:05. More hills. I'm going to take it off road next week, there's a forest out towards blessington, will park up and do a loop. Hit a good pace tonight, was running with a deaf guy, and sure there was no asking him to slow down!

12.5km in 1:07. Very fast night. Ran with my neighbour, a former Olympian. Let her off at 8km, it was around 40 minutes. She missed the run on Saturday, so was mad for speed. She finished up with 10km, so I don't think I did too bad, adding an extra loop.

12km in 1:07. Hit the easy hills tonight. They weren't too much of a struggle. The girl above never caught me, I had a 5 minute head start . Where I'm elated, she's fuming. Wohoo.

Feel great today after my double digit run yesterday. Someone mentioned it to me before, 10 miles/16km. I am going to try keep my runs at 14km+ during the week and more at the weekend. I have a trail run at the end of June, have the option of a 10km or half marathon a week later at Brandon(I'm on holidays down there). Might just leave it to the 10 though. That brings me up to August. Would that give me enough time for DCM?

16km in 1:31. Same route as Saturday. Up ya boy ya. Felt great. Julie actually slowed me down tonight, we could have knocked another 5 minut off that time, but for her stopping with an injury.

Broke 500km for the year too!

17.5 in 1:43. So hot out at 730. One of the lads had a water station out for us, thanks be to God. I'd say we would have got a sup somewhere on route though. I miss those old green water pumps that were scattered about the place.

13.5km in 1:10. Took it handy at the start, hit a few 6's, got it up to 5:10-5:30, and for the last 2km I think i was going 4 minutes per km. Don't know where I pulled the energy from at the end. Feel great now though.

10.5km in 52 mins. Good pace tonight, meant to go slow, but the deaf guy I was running with had other idea's. At 8km he pulled up with a sore hamstring, but waved me on. I can't sign, so ran on. Well apart from thumbs up.

19.5km in 1:54. Complete nightmare before bed, my watch wouldn't turn on. Did a google on the make, and gave it the kiss of life, rebooted it. Phew. I use my watch a lot to keep an eye on the tempo. Anything over 6min/km, too slow. Grand for getting your breath back, that's it. I had hoped for rain, for a bit of cooling down, didn't so much as get a splash from a puddle. And my dinner, 14oz steak, from last night was moving around a bit too much too. Won't do that again, but it was my dad's birthday. There was 2 behind me going moo moo moo when I had slowed a bit, the divils. 3 weeks till Camp trail run, I should be changing courses ASAP.

Camp Trail run completed. 16km in 1:36. One savage climb, I must have been walking for nearly 20 minutes. Made up great time on the way down. Delighted to have done it now. Next goal, rock and roll half. I'm sticking to the flatter routes for a while.

6km in 37 mins. All hills. Was going to chance the trail run again, in hindsight I should have. The ring I did was too short. Might keep it on the roads and do it 2/3 times on Tuesday.

The ring I'm running around is a killer. Basically up and down, no flat anywhere. I've done it twice again, 6.5km in both 36.5 mins and 36 mins. It's not easy on the legs at all. At least I'm getting gradually faster.

17.5km in 1:40. Hot hot. And had a swarm of flies all over me till I got to the far side of punchestown. Water station at 10km. My neighbour Julie kept pushing me to go faster, I wasn't able to though.

Met a couple out on a run just beside our estate, our pace matched up for a while. I've seen him out loads of times. His name is Philip and he's a 2:40 marathon runner, out training for Berlin at the moment. Think he said he runs with Donore. Someone on here probably knows him anyway. Nice guy.

Ding ding. I'm back. Rock n roll hm done today in 1:56:13. Good run I thought. Went out in the second wave with the 1:45 pacer, and tried to stick it out as long as I could. I had to walk 3 times as I was completely fooked. Had absolutely nothing left for the last km, there wasn't a fear of me bursting into a sprint.

10.5km in 59 mins. Took a few days rest, had a sore foot from the race. Unfortunately I ate like a pig during those rest days. Plan now is eat/drink clean, vitamins and fish oil every day. See what I'm like in a month, then decide on DCM. It'd be easier to do if I was lighter. Going to start reformer Pilates also, for my core and to give the muscles a good stretch.

11.5km in 1:05. Was meant to be a gentle run, but a few of the big guns returned to group tonight. We ended up running down to the town hall, and do the route of the Naas 10k, with a run back to the car as a warm down. Windy night, did the 10 in 56 mins, which isn't too bad I suppose.I still finished 10 minutes behind the main group. It's after getting very dark, very quickly. 2 of us nearly went flying over a black German Shepard, didn't see it till the last second, when we both hit the grass . Phew.
