Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Monday Night Grappling welcomes the new and improved American war veteran Zeb Colter aka 'Dirty' Dutch Mantell to its ranks and urges you all to stand up, put your hand over your heart and repeat in a loud, clear voice: 'WE THE PEOPLE!'
Monday Night Grappling would also like to welcome Dutch Mantell's one-time tag team partner with whom he held the NWA (Mid America) Southern Tag Titles. A man I'm not sure has been drafted before but who I think is a very underrated wrestling character.
He is probably most famous for slapping the reporter John Stossel when he asked him if wrestling was fake:

The fact he was hotheaded perhaps cost him greater recognition but he was one of Hogan's early rivals and he was able to cut a very entertaining heel promo as this clip shows. Below, fast-forward to 1:45 to see what a great family man he was. :pac:

Fairly sure I will end up regretting this, changing my plans, 1 guy has been available for the past few rounds when I assumed he would be gone already and now, I just can't let him slip by again even if it means risking my plans elsewhere...he was a two-time WWF Champion. Backlund holds the record for the second longest reign as WWE Champion in history, ahead of Hulk Hogan's first reign and behind Bruno Sammartino's first. On January 21, 2013, he was announced as a member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2013.

I always thought she was one of the best women of modern times and since I put her over mega strong on my PPV last year I'm hoping she can prove to be an interesting character this year too.

When we announced Today's American, Quinton Rampage Jackson, as a member of our roster, he began touring around the US to promote Fusion Pro Wrestling and being a patriot.
However, his tour has been met with resistance from Michigan. There, one man has taken exception to Rampages image as today's American.
"I come from Michigan. I have worked my ass off since the 90s, and yet like most Americans I struggle to make payments. I live from pay check to pay check. My home state has been suffering and has been ignored by the rest of the world. And yet, even though I was born in America and I bleed red, white and blue, I am sneered at by others, because I am an Arab-American. If you Rampage want to preach what is to be American, you are just a symbol of everything that is wrong with America. And I'm not going to fight you, I am going to destroy you."

My pick for this round will be one of WCW's big imposing performers from the 1980s.
He is a member of the NWA Hall of Fame and even has a 5 star match to his name (from a War Games contest).
He is 'The Russian Nightmare'. He is Nikita Koloff!
This guy opens up a lot of possibilities for me. He can be a useful opponent for the American hero Hulk Hogan; he legally changed his name to Nikita Koloff which isn't something Zeb Colter's likely to be impressed about; and there's also the little matter of Vader being the one who ended his career in 1992, and Vader happily is on my roster. So a lot of ways I can go with him.
