Another one. Hooking has been a problem for Cronin all season.

    WTF was that.

    Jesus we're awful in attack.

No but he had lots of time....even did a bit of a dance before kicking.

If it's not a penalty you may as well get that extra distance and risk keeping it in play. 25 metres downfield and into the stands is a poor kick there.

As bad as it was, how was that a knock on?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,658 ✭✭✭Kanrith

Where was the knock on there?

For all our talk of the Ulster centres not putting their hands up for selection for the 6Ns Darce and Drico aren't exactly doing a whole lot here either. Few are......

Ivan Dineen and the two Connacht lads ;)

With the players we have out there there's no excuse for it.

Yeah, don't think it was, as long as it made contact with D'Arcy's foot... which it did as far as I could see.

    Excellent kick.

Got lucky there from that kick. Awful from RK to run straight into two men like that.

How is it 'points kicked away then'?!

Going for 3 virtually impossible points at the expense of taking chances elsewhere.

    Camera switching is annoying.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

    That was funny :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Whoever is director for this production needs a slap. Repeatedly swapping between camera angles and making it hard to follow.

Darcy has been terrible, which is probably better than BOD being completely anonymous.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,309 ✭✭✭former legend

Dave K has been good tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

D'Arcy's been really poor, but Dave Kearney's been good.

Hasn't really gotten the ball so far.

    Shocking call

Seriously this is starting to really piss me off. We're a better team than this.

Leinster getting away with murder, taking out defenders at ruck time

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,892 ✭✭✭spank_inferno

Thought that pen was a bit harsh!

I don't think they are doing any plays from the training field tonight, it's like they were told to just go out and play.

    Great defense, have to say..

    That's optimistic!

Whilst the scores aren't there, it's a much more controlled and effective showing thus far in the second half from Leinster. They shouldn't be afraid to take a drop goal when it's on.

Madigan probably played himself out of a starting place in the HC

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,077 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Boss and Gopperth on. Thank god.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,171 ✭✭✭✭Foxtrol

Leinster are nearly looking like Ireland under the Kidney days.

Let's see how Gopperth goes before we make that assumption!

This "no hooking" crap seriously needs to be looked at again. It's impossible to get quick set piece ball from It.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,906 ✭✭✭jamiedav2011

Ross had Wilko in a good bit of trouble there. Would like to see more of that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Connacht loosehead was in all sorts of trouble there. Was pulling down and then turned in as he buckled.

And we'll get seriously screwed over by a side with a strong scrum.

That is such a soft penalty to give away.

    Bringing on Buckley now though.

That style of kicking was made for the sportsground.

Great feet Kirchner. BOD put him in awful trouble there.

I think the reason for not hooking is not wanting to give up that extra foot hold pressure.

If we can't get clean ball not hooking, we sure as he'll won't get it if we have to hook. Its a bad indictment on the scrum coaches.

Leinster's back play is poor to say the least

How slow were those balls out to Kirchner!?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,892 ✭✭✭spank_inferno

Leinster are pretty pedestrian when they do spread it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,077 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Ah no...passing to Zane when he has nowhere to go.

That is just stupid. We're actually turning the screw with the kicking game. Why would we try and spin it on our own 22?

Kick chase is looking good and we're gaining a lot of territory from it now.

    Ah lads.

Is this Leinster I'm watching at all?!

    gopperth, awful

Leinster creeping into the game. Big 20 mins left.

Kirchner and the two Kearney's have been good considering how awful BOD, Darcy and Madigan have been
