30th birthday ideas?

    Hi All


    Looking for some ideas for my better halfs 30th birthday coming up in a few months time.
    We would be looking to do something in the Cork city area.
    She hopes to have about 30 to 40 at it.

    Any suggestions welcome. We are maybe thinking of something different before having a night out in Cork.

    The penthouse in the clarion hotel is a lovely spot for a party that size.

    What about dinner in Blackrock castle? They have open nights on a Friday once a month?

    Depends on time of year, but a boat spin around the harbour is great for something different around Cork. Hardly anyone has seen cork from the water. Great views, you can see dolphins too. It's a blast.

    There are a few companies that do it. Here are some:

    You can book a boat to pick up various people around the harbour (piers, beaches etc) and then drop everyone off in town by the clarion, or at blackrock castle, a beach, or whereever. They are good for ideas if you ring them about a private charter.

    Penthouse in the clarion, and penthouse in the imperial are both great for private parties. And blackrock castle is really good too. Was there for a girls 40th recently and had a great time.
