I got an email about it yesterday. They are also price matching toys so if you find it at a lower price somewhere Argos will match that price.

What's included in the 3 for 2? I'm just about to reserve a couple of scooters for Xmas gifts, any chance they would be included in this deal?

They will probably be included if classified as an outdoor "toy". Id reserve them now just in case and you can check online at midnight

Has been that price since the middle of August and out of stock in most stores all that time, now available in Sligo and Monaghan.
It had been €149.99 up until Tuesday and then went down to €139.99 again. Managed to get 2 of them today in Tullamore. Hopefully it's a good tablet for the parents!!!

32 gb micro SD card for €12 - not bargain of the century I'll grant you but relatively cheap, particularly for a "highstreet" shop I would have though!

    Plenty of stock too http://checkargos.com/?search=3386312

Seems to be out of stock in a lot of stores, mine included. Pity.

Absolutely avoid. Class10 is the standard these days, you will have trouble recording 1080p video on it I reckon. And you should be able to get a class 10 online for that price.

I picked these up this morning and they were indeed covered by the 3for2. I picked up some Lego Star Wars to complete the 3. No increases on prices that I have seen each item at over the last few weeks.

Is it people trying to get toys for Christmas jamming it up?

Its people trying desperately to book 3-for-2 toys to be honest......
I collected a shedload of Lego products yesterday at lunch- I was told the website was totally out when I was there (Liffey Valley)- however- that said- I could browse it on my phone.......

Re: the S6- I ordered it for Liffey Valley- with an expected delivery of Thurs/Fri- no txt showed up- and the reservation wasn't on the self-service machine- I'm guessing they wiped the orders......... Would have been polite to pop people an e-mail or a txt to that effect.

    Hey guys,

I was working on some stuff that might help in the 3 for 2 madness.

    1) Retry stock check on a single failed store

I noticed yesterday that a lot of stock checks were randomly failing, this was to do with Argos website having some trouble.

You'll now see a button appear beside the ? when a stock check fails on a product page, you can click that an it will attempt to check stock in just that store again.

    2) Custom List

This one is a little more confusing and not really finished, but its working and might be useful!

I've created a page that where you can pass it a list of product ids and it will generate a list of them, then similar to the search result page you can check if all those products are in stock in a single store.

So take the following URL, it has 3 products on it

    http://checkargos.com/list/3386312,4178402,1222540

I can choose Athlone from the drop down and check all items at the one time

    ONFlslQ.png?1

So should be pretty useful for 3 for 2 or if a PS4 comes with a specific game or whatever.

Couple of reasons why this is confusing!

First is that I dont have a page for making the links yet (and I dont think I'll get to add it for a few days). so to make them you just add a list of productIds separated by commas like this checkargos.com/list/productId1,productId2 etc

Second, and this is really confusing, there are currently two versions of the site:
    checkargos.com (current version)
    and checkargos.com/home (new version)

This list feature is part of the new version. The new version is not quite ready yet, but I thought this feature might be useful to have now. They should look pretty much the exact same, the reason for the new version is a little complicated but basically its just to make it easier to maintain and add new features etc

if you see any issues with the new version please let me know!

I made a reservation last sat for the St and was expected in Tuesday. . I never got a text saying it arrived so I went to shop and it wasn't there on system that it be in on the Wednesday. . I went down on the Wednesday and it was there at 399.. so just chance it with your reservation number at the tills it might be still going
