Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Arsenal
    Fabianski -
    Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Monreal
    Arteta, Wilshere
    Gnabry Rosicky Cazorla
    Walcott

    Spurs
    Lloris;
    Walker, Chiriches, Dawson, Rose;
    Lennon, Bentaleb, Dembele, Eriksen;
    Adebayor, Soldado.

Spurs bench very weak Friedel, Fredericks, Fryers, Capoue, Chadli and Kane

Fancy an Arsenal win here by a couple of goals but I wouldn't mind being pleasently surprised COYS!

Dawson up against Walcott :pac: This could get messy.

Walcott always plays well against us, our defense won't be able to handle his pace. Hopefully he twigs something in the warm up.

after dawsons great performance at OT on wed Im expecting the regular sloppy and slow as fook donkey Dawson to be back today:o

Id fancy walcott to rape him in a 1 on 1 but hopefully Im wrong.

    COYS:cool:

If Spurs play deep and they don't be stupid enough to leave Dawson alone with Walcott, it could get messy.

But I'd expect them to put in a good shift and although I don't rate Dawson at all, he should be capable of positioning himself well.

As the great Bobby Moore once explained, the reason he beat very fast people from A to B is because he didn't start at A.

    EDIT:

THAT BEING SAID, Dawson is no bloody Bobby Moore. Arsenal have the players to win this well today. Their bench gives them a massive advantage.

I would go 3-1 Arsenal today. Just a fun guess; I don't doubt Spurs ability to win either.

4-4-2 for Spurs meaning we should dominate the midfield battle, need someone stuck to Ade though

I will be surprised if we don't carve them open tbh with the 4-4-2 formation. Wenger's team selection suggests to me he wants to kill this one off quickly and attack. Cannot wait!

agreed and going at their obvious weak link in Dawson with Theo from the off

Should be a great atmosphere at The Emirates today.
Two teams a bit weaker than usual.
Hoping for an Arsenal win but we are lacking height in defence.
    Come on you Gunners.

Adrian Chiles should be removed from Television for life.

Adrian Chiles should be removed from Television for life.

Rumoured that BT's Champions League takeover was fueled by one man's hate for Chiles.

    Nice.

I took him at 3 or 4's to score anytime in Paddy's.

Should be a decent game. Arsenal should win

You have to think Walcott will be looking to impresse in the central position as well.

    Who's on the Arsenal bench?

    Entertaining game so fare.

Todays game is being enjoyed with a bottle of "Krombacher"
With Krombacher Pils you enjoy a distinctive, finely bitter taste and a full-flavoured aroma – this is a genuine premium pilsner beer

Are you meant to pronounce the G in Gnarby?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,608 ✭✭✭cathalio11

    Jesus Christ.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,623 ✭✭✭double GG

He just has to score that!

    What a chance that was.

Spurs were a decent price today. Arsenal should have enough to beat them though.

close by erikksen....really needed to be scoring there

    According to the Sun:
He answered: "In Germany it's GER-NAB-REE - you do pronounce the G!"

Rose very high up and Eriksen drifting centrally for most of them opening so far. Dangerous game when you've Gnabry and Walcott around.

Great save by Fabianski, that was sloppy defending!

Giving possession away far too easily Arsenal.

Nice break and effort on goal there.

That Gnabry and Walcott combination could get a good return today against a Spurs team pushing up against us!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,608 ✭✭✭cathalio11

Best thing about Gnabry is that we don't need to over-use him which can lead to injury problems in his future career.

Delighted to see Gnabry taking that shot on.

    That was clever by Vermaelen.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,608 ✭✭✭cathalio11

Remember with Mertesacker out, Koscielny changes to the right side of defence and that might be making him a little uncomfortable.

Can really tell that Per is out.

3 times so far. Trying to do too much and ignoring the simple pass.

Yep he's looking very off out there at the moment. He even looks injured or tired already?

Very quick arsenal side out today.

I'd fancy Gnabry to get on the scoresheet looking at the way Spurs are setup.

Gnabry is so very talented and strong for a young lad.

Surprised at how strong Gnabry is. He really does have great potential. Pace, tricks and a great shot.
