Hi ,
I'm a green horn when it comes to running a business
,but have an opportunity to import goods sporting goods from USA for resale here and the uk.
I wanted to know who I should contact to find out what importation involves as regards costs ,customs , VAT ,licensing etc.
All help greatly appreciated ,

To check on potential licensing restrictions contact the manufacturer or see if their is a distributor here I remember not so long ago someone posting a link to a shop that was selling stuff imported and they had to destroy it as they didn't have permission from the manufacturer or something like that can't find the link right now!
