Will ordering a new debit card cancel my old one

Have a Visa Debit card and am wondering will ordering a new card(i lost my old one in a public place)cancel my old one and replace it with a different numbered card?and is there a fee?

If you report it as lost or stolen, the details of the new one will differ slightly (number/expiry/security code may change).

As for a charge, that depends on your bank. I think most do charge now, but criteria may differ.

Again, depends on the bank, but you could be looking at anything from 5 to 10 working days.
