First Tattoo

I'm been a long time lurker on this forum and have had a symbol i've wanted to get tattoo'd for at least 3 years now.
I made the symbol the wallpaper on my phone as I was thinking if I got sick of there it shouldn't be on my body, but I haven't and I still like the look of it and it still has meaning for me.

I was thinking of getting it done this week. However the thought of finally getting it done after such a long wait is making me slightly nervous.
Is this normal?

Also would anyone recommend a few tattoo parlours in Dublin City Centre for me to check out early this week before deciding on who to go with?

What is the symbol and style? Quite often different artists can specialist in different areas, so we could recommend someone based on what you are looking for.

And yeah it's normal to have nerves on the first one. After that though you'll feel uncomfortable with the thought of waking up and not getting a new tattoo each day.

In all honesty, that isn't anything too complicated, so any of the frequently recommended studios should be able to do that for you.

Thats what i was thinking it should be fairly basic, but yea, just nerves haha

We've all been there!
I'd say take a look at some portfolios of the artists in the most frequently recommended studios, if there are some that jump out at you, maybe pop into the studio and see how you feel about it.
Enjoy it, nothing quite like the buzz after getting the first one done and done well!
