For campaign - pretty good actually, but short lived as always.
Multiplayer - very good, the new exo suits make a big difference to the feel of the game as a whole.

The Darkness 2: Great craic but way too short a campaign.

I can't comprehend how anyone can actually beat these games? I have tried but can't get past the initial few areas.

The first one you beat is the hardest, after that they're all just applying the games basic combat knowledge to different situations. That and a crap ton of persistence :P

    Velocity 2X [Vita]
    Dead Nation: Apocolypse Edition [PS4]
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare [PS4]
    Steamworld Dig [Vita]

    Adding:
Injustice: Gods Among US [PS4] - Just completed the story mode. The gameplay is fairly average, no real flow to the fighting. The story mode is well done tho, similar to the Mortal Kombat reboot. I enjoy the universe enough to enjoy the story, won't be playing much more of it though.

Should finish Bayonetta 1 on the WiiU before the new year.

    and that's it.....

Out of curiosity, what do you define as completing a FIFA game. A season in career mode? Sorry if you answered this before.

No I wouldn't consider a season in career modern as completing a fifa game. For me it's completed when you have played the absolute cr*p out of it and obtained most , if not all of the trophies/achievements!

My final update for the year and one last game added to the list - in bold:

    Android (Nexus 7/Nvidia Shield Tablet)

    - Swordigo: cool little platformer, worked well on the tablet
    - The Room: puzzle game that everyone seems to have played!
    - Kingdom Rush: enjoyable tower defense
    - Spider: fun for what it was
    - Fractal: completed the campaign, fun puzzler

    PC

    - Guacamelee: absolutely awesome, one of my favourite games of the past few years
    - Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons: this was exceptional, a great gaming experience
    - Crysis Warhead: enjoyable for what it was, very similar to the original Crysis
    - Mass Effect 3: was pretty good but not a patch on the first two in terms of the plot
    - Assassin's Creed 2: The first AC game I played, really enjoyable if a bit of a slog towards the end. Has aged really well
    - Serious Sam 3: BFE: Fun game, as you would expect if you played previous Serious Sam games
    - Darksiders: Really liked it, will defo play the sequel. Combat was surprisingly satisfying!
    - The Bridge: Nice puzzler, a bit like Braid actually
    - Tomb Raider: The most recent one - this was an exceptionally good game, one of my favourites this year in fact

    Wii U

    - Super Mario Bros. U: Good little game, could be tough and looked gorgeous in HD
    - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD: the first Zelda game I played, I'd rate it as mediocre to be honest
    - Super Mario 3D World: Completed the 'story' in co-op with my better half, will play through some of the bonus levels over the coming weeks. Excellent game, a joy to play!

Still working on Rayman Origins (co-op with the wife) and Bit.Trip presents Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien on the PC, Pikmin 3 on the Wii U, and Leo's Fortune and Shadow Blade on the Nvidia Shield.[/QUOTE]

I had a month off work for Christmas so decided to finish some games from my steam collection, wife not to happy with how I used my time.

    the wolf among us
    Alien Isolation
    Dark Souls
    Crysis 3
    Alan Wake
    The Walking dead season 2
    Deadly Premonitions
    injustice gods among us

I used to buy a game and finish within the first 3 days of owning it, those days are well behind me now and after I finish Dark Souls 2 I have about 100 more games to play and thats not even counting the consoles.
