Garda cert question

    Hi all,i have a quick question about the garda cert,when applying for the iec visa they look for a scanned version of your garda cert,at anytime do the look for the
    physical original?Also do they check up on everyone garda cert,to c if it is valid?thanks all

    its a scanned copy of the gard cert as thats what they require, due to it being an online application.
