    Christ you'd probably go mad.

I'm working on going from 2001 onwards anyway. If I manage that I'll presumably go back to the nineties.

According to WWE network news on twitter are saying that 2011 raws are completed but episode 141 "rawbowl" is the only episode outstanding. I'm watching the raws post summerslam 2011 today and I love the blurring of lines of reality with cm punk and trips and Kevin Nash.

What's the story with that Rawbowl episode? Something on it that they don't want shown?

No idea. The fact that it's the only episode outstanding I'd say they've missed it.

Why is the network not full hd quality. I watching TLC atm and the quality is not crisp like when I used to buy ppv's through sky. Am I missing something?

Yes, you're not crazy! it's a compressed digital file about 6GB in size. Also depends on how are you viewing it: On mobile devices/tablets it's locked to a shítty 3000K feed, on browsers and game consoles it's 4500K. But that's 720p :(

    I did some research:
It's on par with poor BBC HD (~4300K)
but vastly inferior to Channel 4 HD (9100K)
    and ITV HD (12,100K)

The best quality available on the Network is 720p, frame rates of 29fps and highest possible bitrate is 4500k. I have a 2K (1440p) monitor and 720p with a lowish bitrate looks poor. 180p - 480p videos on YouTube are an eyesore on this monitor. The more pixels your monitor/TV has and the less pixels your video clip, the more blurring in your video.

This is why you should avoid getting a 4K TV for the time being, as most channel are SD quality and 4K TVs need to be 60" or larger to see the full definition, unless your willing to sit unrealistically close to the screen.

They'd have to but extra bandwidth for 1080p and they probably feel it isn't worth it.

I'm hoping Vince phases out the HD cameras and phases in UHD 4K 60fps cameras soon. I watched it in 1080p, 60fps and a bitrate of 8000k and the quality is beautiful.

Is anything WWE produces available in 1080p?

    The Blu-rays I suppose?

4K on the network will come eventually, could see them having Wrestlemania in 4K in a year or two and then expand it out slowly. It just doesn't make sense to have it now with so little 4K TVs and devices on the market.

Some of their YouTube clips appear in very high resolutions and frame rates, but these seem to be few and far between.

I reckon that WWE could go down the VR route before the 4K route.

Watched WCWs new blood rising and some of the nitros after it...some of the story lines literally made no sense. Car crash TV.

    Raw Bowl.

I think that's every Raw up, except the ones that aired in the last month.

    And the Benoit tribute show?

    And the Benoit tribute show?
IIRC it's up but they removed all Benoit mentions. Or it could be the PPV the night before I'm thinking of

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,878 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

    And the Benoit tribute show?

The international version that they used in countries that didn't have raw live is used. It's a recap of John cena.

Just been watching some early '96 nitros and uncensored. IT's a complete shambles. Hogan, Bootyman and Randy savage in an eternal feud with KEvin Sullivan, Ric Flair, ARn Anderson, Woman, and Elizabeth, a feud in which Hogan's team wins every match. Elizabeth trying to cuff Hogan to ring post, can't do it so he helps, and with a camera man filming close up so we see all of this. A lumberjack strap match, where the lumberjacks are dressed in lumberjack shirts and carry straps and seem to have great crack hitting each other, but nobody seems to have a clue what's going on...

The uncensored 1996 main event was all kind of shambles you're spot on. I mean it made **** all sense.

Watching the 2008 royal rumble match and jaysus it's a good rumble match.

Also I got a chrome cast as a Christmas present and I know WWE network hasn't got chromcast support through its app. But I know you can cast stuff from a pc, laptop so I tried it and the picture is great but the sound is poor enough. So anyone know if there's a way to fix the sound ?

Bring it to the Table is a pretty cool concept for a show. I like how Peter Rosenburg gives his opnion from a fan perspective where as JBL and Heyman give their opnion from a business perspective.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,585 ✭✭✭Jerichoholic

I didn't see it like that at all, from what I could gather it was Vince in JBL and Heyman's ears telling the fans that they were wrong and he was right.

Probably the most insecure company in the world.

Is anyone else having trouble attempting to input their prepaid card on the Network? Anytime, I click on "Redeem Prepaid Card", the site just takes me back to the Network's front page. I messaged the company a couple of days back about this issue, but I haven't had a response from them since. What's the point of buying a prepaid card in the first place if I can't actually use it?

Nope. Tried it a dozen times on Chrome, still linking me to the front page.

And it seems like I'm not the only one with this problem.

Just out of interest what's the app like on the ps3? I only ask because stuff like Spotify is as good as unusable for me.
