Not a bad roster I guess so far, I wonder if they will sign Tomasso Ciampa seeing as how he's now with ROH anymore.

There's been very little so far that makes me think this stands a chance of being anything above every other Indy fed out there....

How much is this a roster as opposed to guys who happen to be working these particular shows?

    I really don't know but:

They are holding back some unannounced big names until their TV taping.

I wonder how much money they are throwing at Goldberg to sign on.

Is that public about Goldberg? Where did you see it?

Just an educated guess to be honest Goldberg & Ross would/should be the biggest targets.

    From April 24th this year.

Goldberg said while attending the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
“I’m going to make an appearance in professional wrestling, but it won’t be for the WWE. If I put wrestling boots and wrestling trunks on one last time — and I’m going to — it’s going to be done by me and me only.”

    http://www.foxsports.com/buzzer/story/wwe-bill-goldberg-return-042415

Hermie Sadler being a NASCAR guy and Goldberg's quote from a NASCAR event helps with the guessing.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 23,089 ✭✭✭✭rovert

You are a smart cookie then, AC. Yeah Goldberg will be a big surprise for their TV tapings.

Also AJ Styles will be a big surprise. AJ isn't that big of a surprise as all his Bullet Club mates has signed on with GFW but AJ and Jeff working together is two fingers up to Dixie and TNA. Styles is one of the best workers in the World too obviously.

Only seeing those cards now I really hope these two matches make tape I can only imagine what the Bucks and Everett will come up with.

If they don't announce that Goldberg will be there prior to the TV tapings that'd be very, very silly.

How many times has WWE and TNA been taught that lesson without learning though? But yeah you are right. I am interested in what Goldberg means in 2015. The only real metric is that 2013 WWE Goldberg DVD sold extremely well. Outsold Triple H's Thy Kingdom Come by a large margin. I know that was Triple H's nth DVD but still Triple H is a current star pushed prominently. While WWE's history and history in general wrote Goldberg off as a flash in the pan.

If he does make an in ring return I hope it isn't as grim as The Ultimate Warrior's:

That was a decent match, cheers for posting it. It does beg the question alright, why didn't they sign him further on down the line? Anyway, hopefully he'll impress at the shows they have announced. I was blown away by him when he appeared in Dublin. Had never heard anything about him prior to that so was surprised.

Jim Duggan? Is anyone really that interested in seeing Jim Duggan in 2015? Not much of a signing. As for Scott Steiner, I don't think he can bring much to the product.

Kevin Nash lined up to appear at an event in August.

Can't wait till they announce the signing of the Immortal/Hollywood Hulk Hogan to send the company to the next level where it will compete with the WWE lol

Agreed. WWE [while they were still known as the WWWF] used to run shows at Shea Stadium [home of the MLB New York Mets] during the 60s and 70s.

Kevin Nash lined up to appear at an event in August.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Jarrett should be using that money on signing worthwhile talent. Not guys like Nash. Might as well bring in Hogan and Bischoff again.

I guess this decision sort of exonerates Dixie Carter. Not all of TNA's business decisions were because of her. This decision here shows Jarrett isn't all that great either.

Dixie saw him first I believe. She saw him on UK Gladiators during a UK TNA tour:

    That's died down/gone away.

Between TNA stints she guest trained at the Performance Center in November 2013:

Really? I thought she was persona non grata for life. Maybe Nick might get a shot in WWE then. Personally I dont think he has "IT" but then again WWE have taken more than a few turds and made them shine

  • Registered Users Posts: 415 ✭✭Alexis Sanchez

Why is she considered a persona non grata? What did she do?

Looking at her Wikipedia, she left because she didn't like the direction of the woman's division but was a guest trainer for NXT in 2013.

Iirc, there was a lot of talk about her cheating on people, and being Cena's "road wife" who didn't take kindly to him breaking up with her.

Well first off she didn't leave. She was fired. There are many rumours as to bad attitude and backstage heat but the biggest thing is she "allegedly" had an affair with Cena that soured and she was let go as a result. I don't know if that's true or not but that's just the rumours that I've heard.

Love to see her back. 2006 Mickie was my favourite performance by any Diva ever and think she still has a few good years left in her

Her country music gimmick was fantastic in Tna before she left; one of those ideas that was so good I don't know how Tna produced it.
