Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

To pay for medical care in America by putting money aside before a trip there you'd want to be winning the lotto on a weekly basis.

Ah I know yeah, but I meant the likes of going to Spain every year.

From my experience, everyone always seems to be arguing with the company for months after a claim, a tactic insurance companies do, then never use the insurance company again.

The one time you are robbed or injured in the likes of Spain you have to fight for reimbursement, and you usually end up getting back less of what you've been paying in policies for years if you get it.

Like if you're holiday costs 1000 euro, have 200 for emergency. Over 10 years, you'd have your own pot if the 200 wasn't used.

Usually when a motorist hits a cyclist in Ireland, it the motorist insurance that pays up, no mention of a claim against the driver of the vehicle...

While I do feel for him, has Reinhard anything new to tell us or is this word-for-word the same as the last session a couple of weeks ago? I suspect it was Joe who called him today.

I am open to correction but Reinhard and his wife were on Audrey Carville's programme on Rte Radio 1 one night last week too. Thought the story sounded familiar.

    Bring back the travellers!!!!!

No Mike, a bit early for Tarmac Tuesday.:)

That said, I bet they got loads of new stories over the weekend. Wonder will Joe put them on air?
Probably depends on whether he has anything "better" or if he's too afraid to.

Can anybody tell me if there was a reason Joe was out last week?

He's off for the summer for months, only works 5 hours a week (doing very little!), gets paid 300k +.

And yet he doesn't mind telling us about his other projects and what he does.

I wonder was he at the Christy Brown auction last week.

Let the callers with the tenuous Malaysian links begin.

A very sad ending ? Did people really think they were all going to be found alive somewhere ?

It may not have been the fault of the driver.........no negligence, no claim!

Just thought I'd mention this: Relates to a murder from a burglary,

    http://www.thejournal.ie/sligo-arrest-615158-Sep2012/

"Gardaí confirmed on Tuesday that they had received a call the night before Gillespie was found, relating to a male who was tied up in a house with a brown gate in Sligo. Acting on information in this call they went to a house with a brown gate in the town where they “satisfied themselves that there was nothing untoward”."

I'm only after realising that the Gardaí visited the house the night before, and left it while the man was dieing inside, he was dead the next day!!!

    The trial starts tomorrow.

    http://www.irishexaminer.com/breakingnews/ireland/sligo-native-to-be-tried-for-eugene-gillespie-murder-625899.html

This is the sort of nonsense from the Gardaí and the fears of the likes of the people, on the line last week.
