I'm staying in the Gresham Metropole.

If you want cheap, check out the Kinlay House Hostel. Dorms or private rooms. I stayed there before and it was grand.

I was going to, but it'll be my first time away with the new gf so wanted to spring for somewhere nice (plus it's a week after both of our birthdays so it's kinda like a present to myself :P )

i booked a night's stay at a relative's house:) not to far from the city so only have to get a bus when the time comes. All we need now is the venue and i'm all set:D

I'll leave it up to you guys as i have limited knowledge of Cork city. if the venue is accessible to a taxi to go to if needs be, i'll probably be attending ( and i'll work on my folks)

It won't be too busy at that point, and we can just meet there and then head off to whereever people want to go. Or not.

(The only pubs I can remember off the top of my head are Fred's, BDSM and Preachers)

Is it parnell place you mean? If that's the case freds is only about a five minute walk from there. You wouldn't need a taxi but there would be taxis around there. And there are fast food places all over the city. I'm sure someone out with you could point you in the right direction

When ya come out of the bus station take a left and walk straight up,take a right onTo the south mall,walk straight down on the left hand side of the street and its up a side street,does that make sense ?
