Which cable do I need?

Hi, hopefully someone can help me out with this one.

I've a macbook pro and I'm trying to connect it to a smart interactive board for display only.

My own outputs on the mac are as follows..


and the input at the side of the board is like this..


I thought it was a mini dvi to vga but there's female input on the board and I can't see a mini dvi to vga that has 15 pins to connect to the smart input.

I'd appreciate the advice!

Mini dvi to vga adapter - standard vga cable and on to the board. Gotcha. Thanks a lot!

No joy I'm afraid.

Seems I have no mini DVI.. Ive actually got a firewire and thunderbolt.


Which of these would be the best to get a VGA adaptor for?

Thunderbolt will output VGA signal afaik with an adaptor. Is there any other ports on the Mac not in the photo?

see the one next to the usb to the left that's mini display, so you need mini display to vga http://store.apple.com/ie/product/MB572Z/B/mini-displayport-to-vga-adapter

Its the thunderbolt port, not sure thunderbolt is the same as Mini Display although they look alike
