Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My dog is a better footballer than Cleverley.

    What's his passing stats like?

    Great play there from Januzaj

Christ United away fans are in full support of Moyes.

    Different class.

And then they go **** a flare on the Sunderland fans.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,193 ✭✭✭✭Kerrydude1981

Only a matter of time before Catermole takes Januzaj out of it

Just switched on, and sad to see so many empty seats.

Its a Cup semi against Man Utd, with a decent chance of winning given their recent record. Sunderland a hotbed of football? Doesn't look like it.

Saving their money for the final.

He's actually not doing that bad, certainly no worse than Carrick. It's flavour of the month to hate on him though hence all the posts in here. He's the cause of Utd's poor season or something.

Sunderland are so poor, it's actually hilarious.

Just think about it, a 40 year old man just scored an own goal in a League Cup semi-final.

    Sunderland 1-0 HT
    United 1-2 FT.

Can see us getting off to another poor start, but fancy us to sneak it by odd goal in end.

    Much depends on team though

    First part in;)

If you back a player for first/anytime goalscorer and they score an OG do you get paid?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,022 ✭✭✭jamesbere

    De Gea would've saved that.

    Not his fault really

Can't say I'm at all surprised. Had a gut feeling that a last second freekick like that would yield a goal. United obviously already in the lockerroom.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,736 ✭✭✭OctavarIan

Moyes needs to bring on a striker at half time, or else get everyone to move a dozen yards up the pitch, playing with no striker isn't working.

Pretty standard stuff from us. Have the majority share of the possession while looking devoid of any creativity once we get near their box.

Yet again a defensive shambles, just as we are getting on top. Still think well get something.

Wouldn't be the first time Giggsy wasn't particular about where he scored!

get Fletch and Kagawa on and preferably drive off on the team bus without TCLEVZ23

No but an OG doesn't count as a first goal. So the next goal will count as first goal.
