Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,
In December I purchased a Sony Bravia 32 inch LCD with Led backlight. The TV is in our very quiet bedroom and watched late at night by my wife using headphones.
This TV is driving me mad:mad::mad::mad: as when the tv prog goes into dark scenes the back light buzzes/hums to compensate. A week after I bought it a techie came out and said thats the way its meant to be nothing wrong there.

I rang the firm yesterday and they'll send someone out on friday.

    What are my options?

    All suggestions welcome.

    Thanks.

    Update.

    Technician was here today.

He had an A4 print out of a known fault on that very TV.

It seems one of the components on the power supply was fitted the wrong way round. He desoldered the component and placed it the right way round then he soldered it back on the board, result the sound is almost gone.

    Thanks for reading.
