Meeting went well. Watch this space for the facepainting and movement workshops hosted (for free) by Athenry Community Council.

There will be a face painting workshop in Athenry Library on Sat 8th of March from 11am, you can just turn up. You don't have to be taking part in the Atherny St. Patricks Day parade to attend. It's Free. It's being hosted by Athenry Community Council.

This workshop is to learn how to face paint a lot of people quickly so it's perfect for school groups, scout troops, youth groups etc. We will be learning just a couple of different types of faces and a few tricks so you can design your own. All welcome.

We're recommending that walking groups (which are often full of Children) don't have to assemble till after 11am because of the cold (but apparently Dry!!) weather.
