    Do you mean a slow cooker? If so, yes, they are one and the same thing. I think crock pot is more of a US name.

    I think crock pot is more of a brand name, like Hoover. I could be wrong though, but either way, they're the same thing.

    I do too - they seem to call them crock pots in the US.

    Phoenix, if you have the space for it I'd get the 6.5l size because then you can do a whole chicken or large joint of pork for pulled pork.
