I presume there wasn't an update today as it's the exact same size as the day one update and I complained about the fact I haven't got my explorer pack or eso plus and crowns again so maybe they reset my account or something so Iv to download it again

The servers were down for maintenance, then they said they were doing a "incremental patch" aka small changes, xbox 1 patch 500mb ps4 patch 16gb...

Apparently on ps4 they are making us re download the first massive patch with changes. :mad: this is feping bull**** to be honest.

Makes a lot more sense than my explaination and it still doesn't make sense ha. Hopefully everything will be fixed when I get on next

Try pause the download for a couple of minutes and then then continue, seems to work for some including myself if it is taking too long.

The first 5 gigs downloaded in about 40 min then it was stupidly slow till 1am going at 1mb from 1 to 20 sec now it's going faster but normally I would download huge files within an hour dunno Wtf is up with this, at least they pushed back the restart scheduled for tomorrow till the 29th

Yeah I left it downloading all night and there are still 3gb left to go this morning. Why do a server maintenance if it doesn't help anything?

Well I had enough of this farce, so I contacted PSN support got a hold of a very helpful Scottish agent who I admit tried to fob me off at first but once I explained the situation and he knew I wasnt having any of it became helpful.

So 2 things are happening

1) My problem with eso is going into the pile of others with the same issues no crowns etc etc, not sure if its an exaggeration but he said hundreds of thousands direct quote had the same problem for investigation with sony

2) He has initiated a refund request reluctantly but it has gone in

So now we wait

Now that you are in, I found it interesting to learn from this that people from different factions can join the same guild. No idea why it asked me to assign a guild faction when I made it though. When we have enough people I will have to assign some faction leaders to help organize raids etc within the different factions.

so is a guild full on voice chat or is their any form of text communication with it ingame i havent gone into any because i have voice chat volume down to zero cause its hella annoying so far.

There is a guild voice chat channel, but like most in game channels on any PS4 it doesn't always work great. Still no text chat of any kind in the game. We've been using mails for those not in our friends list on PSN.

Ditto. In fact most of us are like that. Prefer doing dungeons. PvP can be very unbalanced simply by how many players of each faction are on at a given time. It is fun, but it does tend to just heavily fluctuate between who has control.

I joined the guild and decided to start an ebonheart charactor and gone more down the route of a mage, loven it so far up to lvl12 already when I was at 14 for the daggerfall

DK seems to be the most popular class in the game, and its reflected in the guild. I sent another invite to Hydromotor earlier and it worked so will be up to 9. Just need one more. Then this master crafter can share his hand-me-downs

I saw an option for me to invite people and I'm a normal member, had planned on getting on tonight but watched true detective hopefully I'll be on tomorrow for a good bit(I'm hooked, I need my fix)

Will be only master and officers from now on, but send anyone on to me if you want them added; I am online far too much so will see it in no time at all. Will open the bank in a bit. Take at will gents but have consideration for your fellow guild members. We can start arranging dungeons now too. If people want help just message a guild member.

Had a unique experience tonight where I decided to enter Cyrodiil and it was empty. Managed to get quite a bit of PvE done there that is usually difficult because other players kill you while you are minding your own business. Guess 2am is the time to do it from now on.

I haven't tried that pvp area yet, I've just been playing it like a single player game since err theirs no way to talk to anyone besides a mic but most have that off, it would seem. I went back to solo the first dungeon on my templar to find the mobs scale to your level -_-

I am the same as Lone Stone, playing as single player so far, aside from 1 pug run which was a nightmare.
Keep meaning to try cryodill. Might check it out this evening

We will have to change that then gents. As for dungeons, depends on the type. Solo scales to your level. Group scales to the leaders level (which is you if you are alone). Public is at a set level.

Hah the 1 pug I ran, I was 5 levels below the leader. Quite a struggle for us. We got halfway through with just 2 people. Cleared it with 4

:mad: im determined to get my money back not because i dont enjoy the game but because they blatantly dont give a flying **** about the money i spent give me fking crowns or some thing to unlock it ingame but no not a ****ing thing.

Sony just sent me an e-mail to say as a gesture of goodwill they are refunding me the money I spent on the crown pack back to my wallet and lo and behold tis there

So for anyone still having issues keep at it youll get it back, quick tip make sure when they are putting your problem in with the investigation case make sure you also get a refund ticket opened at the same time its what I did and it seems to have worked

I wouldn't recommend it for awhile yet, eso support and Sony do not seem to know what the issue is and how long its going to take to resolve the problem

My advice just enjoy the game until theres something more substantive from either sony or eso on the matter
