Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Agreed. However, the fact still remains. It's like cheating on an exam in school in terms of principle. Yes I got the result but I know it was ill gained. That's hollow and not real despite public perception and opinion.

its in the fabric of the sport, riders, managers, coaches and doctors. its the norm for cycling or at least has been for the last 100 years.

lets not kid ourselves there are many variations of epo which arent detectable. there is reported abuse of tue's and particularly Corticosteroids to lose weight quickly, etc. etc. but I know we all know that

thankfully at least one team is only on pineapple juice :)

Would Lance, Jan Ulrich, Marco Pantani, Tyler Hamilton, Floyd Landis, Jaques Anteqeil(spell?) , Tom Simpson etc not be considered to have 'made it' tonelite level of professional cycling. I'm not saying what they did was justified, far from it. I'm merely suggesting that many people would consider they had made it.

Lance never won the Tour de France - all that effort for nothing.
Pantani and Simpson paid the ultimate price.
Landis was stripped of his only Grand Tour win.

If that's making it then I'm glad I never tried to 'make it' in cycling!
