Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Getting closer.. but it's not Buttevant. As an aside today was the 35th anniversary of the Buttevant Train Disaster.

    Ballyclough

It was driving me mad for a while but the clues made it easy enough for a finish once I knew it was in the Mallow/Buttevant region.

I think the Ballyclough butter connection may have thrown people.Apologies if it was a bit obtuse, Ballyclough was a big player in butter for many years before amalgamating with Mitchesltown. In 1982, the Ballyclough annual turnover had passed the £120m mark, and Ballyclough was listed in the top 30 Irish businesses. .

    You're up, Swiper.
