Never heard of south cork as long as I've lived here, it's either North, West or Mid Cork. I know that location but it just won't come to me it looks like Dromina.

And south as in what most people call "West Cork?"

  • Registered Users Posts: 140 ✭✭Tedddy

It's in the southern half of the county.

Perhaps another clue is needed. I have found several roads where the imagery comes from September 2011 as in this picture, but no luck with the location. For instance, Dunvourney to Mogeely, it even slopes towards the south.

It's to the west of the city.

I think we're going to need more help. I scoured the target area and while I suspect the location is fairly close to Bandon, cannot find the scene. Maybe a clue could be some info about the building off to the right.

    Newcestown.

Yes it's close to Bandon. On the Cork side.

The theme of this picture is "come first, leave last."

View is towards the north-northwest. It's not in Cork.

The overwhelming sense of relief when I saw that it really existed ... I think the combined facts of the place being so small with the road being so minor fooled all of us, I only had a chance when the area was narrowed down and even then it took better part of an hour. Well, now I have a very good idea of what every inhabited part of Cork looks like.

Here's a clue to help move this along ... location is in Connacht.

Surprised it lasted that long with a church like that. It's cloone in leitrim anyway after a quick Google image search.

I dunno i though it was just repeated guessing If you genuinely know it I've no problem. Could be waiting for days for someone else to guess.
