If we get Mata signed and load of Kagawa to get in Gungodan or whatever his name is that would be some boost to the team. If we got Contrao this month also it would be a dream.

Then in the summer break the bank for Vidal and Draxler.

Hopefully there's negotiations going on under the radar for a centre midfielder like the Mata stuff was.

The longer it takes to sign Mata the more worried I get, how did Chelsea get the Salah deal done so quickly

Lads havent seen enough of Vidal to comment on how good he is. Is he much better than Gundogan? Is he better in a 3 man mid field or can he operate in a two?

He's unbelievable. He's better at attacking and defending than Gundogan but Gundogan is almost 4 years younger and Vidal is probably at the start of his prime. Vidal played in a two man midfield in Germany and was still a goal and assist machine.

He mentioned Mata warming up during the home game last August.

This post was written by Homerjay on 28/08 last year 2 days after the Home fixture against Chelsea..

just one thing about Mata, he spent a good bit of time warming up the last night right in front of us and his body language was very telling IMO. didnt seem interested and something i thought was strange, he seem infatuated with the United fans and kept looking up to the stretford end...he seemed to be reading the flags, listening to the songs etc etc

Vidal is the perfect box to box midfielder who can do everything. Very strong and covers lots of ground but also has very good control, passing and shooting. Gundogan has better close control and dribbling, but isn't as strong defensively. They can both play in a two man CM, but Gundogan would need to be beside a defensively strong player, whereas Vidal could partner with anybody.

Rasta was talking about all the posts to do with the drunk guy ringing 999 I would guess.

With Dortmund interested in Kagawa, Juve interested in Nani and Chico likely to leave surely a player + cash deal could be done for the likes of Gundogan/ Hummels with Dortmund, Vidal/Pogba with Juve, Costa/Turan of Athletico. Not saying we would be going for all but it would surely make it more achievable

Agree 100% but in one of these cases it could or at least two seperate deals each way . Kagawa back to dort and gun to us is possible. Plus juve are always linked with Nani we might have leverage with one of the midfielders.

Gundogan's recovery plan put back another 4 weeks, if he had been back getting a few minutes now I'd say there would be a small chance but it's definitely not going to happen now you'd think
