Wrong..You can never win the Ballon D'or, but United can and will catch Chelsea. Your saying you didnt have the talents but United have the talents but werent available for a lengthy time. My point was now that we have our strongest players back we can easily close a 10 point gap on Chelsea & i was only saying imo if we had the qualities of Van Persie on the pitch fit we wouldnt have dropped so many points. we lost a couple games by an odd goal like against Spurs which imo we wouldnt have lost if Van Persie & Rooney played. This squad isnt as poor as people say, I was also saying that Chelsea wont win the league, there not a great team & they wouldnt be 10 points clear of us if we had our best players all season

Talk of catching Chelsea seems crazy to me.

No chance IMO. 4th will be a hell of a struggle and some achievement if it happens, all things considered.

Moyes just needs to focus on winning a few in a row for now, hoping Van persie and Rooney stay fit and taking advantage when other teams start dropping points, which could happen more towards the back half of the season.

Baby steps, no point getting ahead of ourselves.

Hopefully a fit Fellaini will be our box to box midfielder (temporarily at least) freeing up Mata, Kagawa, Rooney etc to play at the other end.
That should see the team through until the club spends more of that warchest we keep hearing about.

The word is that he reacted angrily to being substituted by Pep. I wouldn't read much into it to be honest, I think the Mata transfer has given everyone inflated expectations of Ed Woodward's negotiation skills.

Dropping him into a midfield with Giggs, Jones and Cleverley could certainly be seen as a punishment alright.
