nope but it might help solve the lack of goals. a forward 4 of mata, rooney, januzaj and RVP if all played together and staying fit for the remainder of the season could possibly outscore almost anybody. just let carrick, fellaini, jones and fletcher get the ball and get it to one of those four and its only a mata of time before somejuan scores

we lack the CM to win the title but that ship is long gone but bringing him in along with hopefully the return to fitness of our only other 2 world class players would put us in a great position to get top 4. also hopefully fellaini settles. ideally we get atleast a left back to make us stronger at the back but if not i think all that would be enough for 4th. considering i think at this point we have a better defensive record than 12 months ago then i dont think thats the main issue

Gotta love all the people saying Mata is not needed as we have cover already in his position. Same logic was used when RVP was rumoured to be a target...."but we have kagawa, rooney, welbeck, chico. We don't need RVP"

RVP was the difference with us winning the league last season. It doesn't matter if the position is not pressing. If a player of superior class is available then UTD should go for him. Mata is head and shoulders above kagawa. It would also leave the door open to a potential move away for Kagawa which would be good leverage in potential player+cash deals, especially if the gundogen rumours are true. In fact kagawa would be great leverage for any player we want in the bundesliga

probably just Chelsea trying to maximise the sale, but all the media exposure might open other teams eyes, so you better to get this deal done asap.

Carrick and Fellaini are good enough for a title winning team. They just have to learn how to work in tandem and not step on each other's toes. Let Fellaini run around harassing while Carrick sits deep instead of both taking up the same deep position.

In all seriousness, we need to completely change if it happens. Huge emphasis on passing and movement with Rooney, Kagawa, and Mata behind RVP. Januzaj can equally step into any position in that 3 .
