New one on me but I think I can guess how it fed by it's shape. Slashed side to side through the seaweed and scared out smaller prey victims.

Maybe it used it as a digging apparatus to upturn sand, flushing out critters?

could be Galvasean, whatever method it used though, I am almost totally certain it was a bottom feeder, and therefore not a blue water shark.

I agree. I'm sure the bill must have been covered on electroreceptors, like the hammerhead's "hammer" or the sawshark's "saw", to detect prey hidden in the sea bottom or even buried on the sand.
