Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For the last few mornings I have been hearing a strange vibrating rattle
Along the bathroom wall upstairs , I stuck my head up in the attic and the rattle seems to be coming from the water tank... Before I could get to the tank it stopped...the ballcock is fine it opens/ closes....the water level is about two inches from the overflow outlet...it looks ok.....

The heating was on co incidentally ... I wonder what is the cause of this...

    Thks

no you need whats called an equilibrium ballcock ,that stops water hammer http://www.johnsonvalves.co.uk/float-valves/

€25 as opposed to less than €10 for a normal one ,well worth it to permanently stop water hammer
