Hello, Do people find it matters who you get to service the boiler (Bord Gais, Electric Ireland, private..) or are they much of a muchness regards quality, price etc.? I have my utilities with Electric Ireland if that qualifies for a discount with them I don't know? Thanks you.

if you get one of those service providers to service boiler it is literally luck of the draw as they have their own rgi's and subbies doing their services. personally I would be looking for an independent rgi that comes with good references from people. either way,there is a stickie on gas boiler servicing that will give you an idea of what should be done on a service,time it should take etc.
