Transfering Pension out of Ireland

    I'm at the moment considering Volunteer Redundancy with my company.
    I have built up my company pension with them (10+ years) and was wondering what my options are on transferring all money out of the scheme.

    I'm original from Germany, and planning on moving back there soon, with no intention to return to Ireland in the future and was hoping to take the money with me. Is this possible or can I only transfer the money from one pension scheme to another?

    As far as I know you cannot take money 'out' or transfer an Irish pension..you can transfer money in ...
