I was offered a position in London's Financial District and I need to look for accommodation close by. I don't mind sharing a room for the first couple if weeks until I become familiarized with London. Where should I start looking? I'll be making 20,000 per annum if that helps. Cheers

By financial district, do you mean The City or Canary Wharf (or less likely, the hedge fund enclave in Mayfair)?

Gumtree for rent a room I would suggest but you'll need to work out areas based on your commute or other personal criteria.
