Bit worried about this game. Could get ugly.

I'm more optimistic now than i was an hour ago, crisp clear weather, ball will be moved when able.

I do expect quite a kicking game though.

    Try Castres

We've been extremely sloppy in possession

WE've been shocking at the breakdown, turned over in attack and not slowing down at all in defence

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

Crap defending, should have smashed your man and slowed the ball down. Try Castres.

    very lax by d'arcy there
    amongst others

How many guys did it take in the end!?

    Strolled through the defence there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

Nice break... was always a try once it took so many to bring him down. Took a very nice line tbf to him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,815 ✭✭✭Burgo

Heaslip and toner should have put him to ground there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Great try. They won't be lying down and we haven't looked great as a unit so far. Some good individual bits (McGrath and Fitzy) but that's it. Serious wind and the sun is straight in our eyes though and plenty of time left.

    COME ON LEINSTER!

    1. Dave Kearney. The rest either fell off or went for the ball.

I haven't seen Leinster give away so much ball in a match before as first ten mins of this. Defence was sloppy too. Could be a long afternoon. I was hoping for an early try and kill Castres off.

Very well-taken try but that was a shocking attempt at a tackle by Toner

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

D'arcy has had a bit of a nightmare start

Picking out Toner when there was about 4 guys with weak efforts is a bit much.

    Hook the bloody ball!

3 piss poor tackles from Toner, Heaslip and Gopperth and then a couple guys missed him completely.

    HOOK THE F-ING BALL FFS!!!!!

Castres have a big set-piece advantage so far.

When is Cronin going to learn to hook the ****ing ball?

For all his work in the loose his scrummaging has been really suspect this season. Which is why I thought Moore had a shot at starting.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,339 ✭✭✭Artful_Badger

They are going for the ball instead of bringing the man down. All its achieving is conceding ground at a rate of knots.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,264 ✭✭✭✭Fireball07

    That was a better scrum.

Can I ask anyone who is posting updates in here to include the score when it changes. :)

It's a tactic to ensure we don't lose a man on our own out in from what I can tell. Not a great one though!

Individual breaks not getting supported again. How often has that happened this season!?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,339 ✭✭✭Artful_Badger

Excellent by Reddan in the break and managing to get the ball back.
