    Anyone farming nothin but sheep ,just wondering is there many all sheep farmers out there on a low land system , when do ye lamb wat no.s are ye runnin wat breeds and does ur ground not get sick of sheep , do ye finish lambs on slot of meal

    Two years ago I'd have said land doesn't get sheep sick, but now?????
    500 ewes on 50 ha
    450 lamb in march
    50 lamb in dec
    sell about 650 lambs +120 cull ewes
    keep about 150 ewe lambs
    160 ewes go to Lleyn or Texel rams and the rest are put in lamb to vendeen.
    Use to get away with only meal feeding 35% of the lambs but every lamb last year took 25kg meal to finish
