Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's not that he can't see it. He was trying to get a left back in 6 months ago. It's that he's not capable of doing anything about it tbh.

Buttner may nor be great but at least he tries. Should be starting today.

Play Evans there, play Fabio, tell him to stop attacking so much as he has nothing left in the tank to get back. Anything but stand by and watch that

He expects other players to move after passing the ball

Is there anything to be said for swapping our left winger with our number ten for a while?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,652 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

Swansea have had more possession then anyone this season. Nothing new

You'd swear Swansea were the home team the way they are pressing United when they come into their half, as opposed to United who are very passive. Ridiculous how even a game this is, without RVP or Rooney to pull it out for United, you have to wonder wwho their game changer actually is. This could go either way.

    Rooney isnt playing :P

No width at all. Valencia and Kagawa offering nothing.

  • Site Banned Posts: 4,925 ✭✭✭Agueroooo

If Swansea grew a set they could get 3 points here.

Is moyes' tactic for the game to lose the ball as fast as possible?

    No, that would make sense.

Shelvey playing well for the Swans

Evra gets way too far forward.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,286 ✭✭✭ankles

There is nothing in this match that suggests we are going to win this game. thats not to say we might not nick it, but any neutral observer would say we were second best, no possession, light in midfield, can't string an attacking move, and vulnerable at the back. A poor team with a few decent players. It's frightening what has been wrought on this team in 6 months

    Dire stuff.

You reckon? No real standouts imo. Boring game so far with Swansea passing it around without doing much.

It just so painful to watch us, im quite depressed looking at this team.

    Not really.

If he would just run into the hole after laying it off short he would be more effective.

He keeps dropping the head and going for the Hollywood ball over the top.

It's a sad day when E. T. is running the game.

Which is Shelvey playing well! You'd know if he was playing badly - Utd would have either scored due to a terrible pass or have a man advantage ;)

    Class pass from Evra there

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,631 ✭✭✭✭Hank Scorpio

    Bit slow from Kagawa there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,796 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

Nice movement there. I don't think they're playing as bad as previously.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,116 ✭✭✭Professional Griefer

Poor from Kagawa, play it earlier

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

Fletch is off the pace defensively, he doesnt press but he doesnt cover either, they just pass around him in triangles

    Come on United!

Lucky for united swansea are so poor in the final third.

Think he was waiting for Welbeck to move, never happened though.

    Should have played it quicker

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Lads in the middle were static, waiting for movement

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

I swear I just read Robins lips there

He was telling her that Januzaj should be playing wide and Shinji central

Once again, decent attacking spell for a minute, instantly drop off and give Swansea the time to kill off the pressure and then start again. Moyes hasn't got a hope at United unless he changes his tactics, and very, very fast.

    I hate Valencia

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,949 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Would have been a nice time for Fletcher to get back among the goals

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

Honestly, out offensive play isnt that bad today, need to be making a clear chance and taking it though

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Utd will win this, Swansea cannot pass it about for 95 minutes without a serious lapse in a dangerous place.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,687 ✭✭✭Danger781

    Seriously.. Valencia.. Just retire, please

    Come on United!

Alot more mobile than Carrick though who hasn't got going since he came back from injury.

This game will be won in the dressing room at half time by either manager.

The phases if play from both teams have just be repeated since kick off.

lets see which if the mangers goes at changes it for the better.
