Unlicensed Sparks in NSW

Any Irish electricians unlicensed working in NSW? I've heard you can work unlicensed aslong as there is a licensed spark on site? But can't get anything concrete on google. I'm working in South Australia but have a phone interview for a 6 month gig in Sydney in factory maintenance and want to have my facts right beforehand.
