Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Garage scrapped car without permission.

A garage got rid of my sister in laws car without her permission. The car was at the garage for 12 months but there was a problem getting the parts and she regularly kept in touch with them. 2 weeks before christmas she found the parts at an affordable price and told them this and gave the go ahead to complete repairs but…

It was insured when it was left in to the garage but was transferred off and on to another car so it appears she can't make a claim.

Don't know as only engine and gear box have been found. Don't know where rest of car is gone to.

The shell would most likely be crushed and sold for scrap.
I suppose he hasn't managed to offload the engine and gearbox yet.
