What are DITs Course computers like?

    Do they have good facilities for computer/media courses? ie, are the computers, powerful/fast etc?

    Depends what course you're doing. If it's a media course, you'll probably have access to one of the Mac labs. Most of those are fitted with pretty decent machines. Other than that it's the bog-standard Windows officey type of stuff.

    I got my own laptop, simply because I find OSX a bit annoying to use.
