Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Meteor unlock code not working

I have an old SGS2 which I want to give to someone, they have a Vodafone SIM so I rang up Meteor and gave them the IMEI of the phone, they gave me an 8-digit unlock code.
I put in the SIM into the phone and the SIM network unlock screen came up, and I put in the code and pressed Unlock, it said "Registering on the network failed"
I rang them back and gave them the IMEI of the phone again and they confirmed the same 8-digit code, I tried it again and still not working...

    So... now what?
Might it not work if it's an older SIM card or something?

Registering on the network failed is a common error for an old / cancelled / disabled SIM card. Try a working Vodafone SIM in it.

Also, there are a dozen apps in the Play Store to SIM unlock the Galaxy series, particularly the original S and S2.

Cool thanks I'll give the app a go, the Chainfire one looks free, if that doesn't work I'll try get a newer SIM and try again.
